The day i quit Wugar

There is so much information out there about the evils of wheat and sugar, in fact at the moment, it's actually bang on trend to be wugar (wheat and sugar) free: Miley Cyrus is doing it, so is gwyney, madonna, nicole riche to name a few.
Me? I've dipped in and out of it, i've done a few months paleo and a few months wheatfree and why not? it's cool and could help with weight loss but like any fickle follower, I quit when it got hard and now i'm going full circle again.....and here's why:
You see my relationship with food is likened to that of a schizo boyfriend who is great 20% of the time and a complete A-hole the rest of the time except of course one can dump a boyfriend and you should if he actually is what I described above but once can't live without food BUT in this country were we are blessed with an abundance of this delicious frenemey we can live without food our body doesn't need, difficult but possible but I digress.
I've realised after years of yo yo dieting that I'm a food addict, my foods of choice: Wugar, why? they are addictive in nature, they taste good, are cheap and make me feel good for like....2 mins
it's like a smoker, cigarets are very addictive, once you quit successfully, you gain control of your adddiction, you stop feeding it.
My addiction is getting out of control, it is now a huge road block in my life and I worry, that like any addiction left to do as it pleases, it will destroy me.
So i've decided to confront this demon, accept it, take control of it and learn to live in harmony with it.
Along side that, I've decided to give up the foods that feed my addiction the most.

Quoting Monice in friends: This is for the fat girl in me, I (from now on, will) never let her eat.
